A key part of our heritage, the track jacket is a recognisable Fred Perry icon and one of our most enduring pieces. Taken from a time when bold colours and man-made fibres were first introduced to team kits, the track jacket was later adopted into British subculture, taking centre stage in the Britpop era. Since then it’s never quite lost its cheeky appeal. An adaptation of the original, our taped track jacket is constructed from the same cotton/polyester tricot, with a bomber style neckline in place of a funnel neck. Inspired by tennis champ Fred Perry and the golden era of sport, we replace the white track tape of the original design, for shiny gold.
